Olwel and Maya have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on July 17, 2019. This partnership will create an access point for both Olwel and Maya users to get the best out of these services from any of these individual platforms.
Olwel is dedicated to providing essential doorstep healthcare services for patients who prefer to receive medical consultation from the comfort of their homes. Maya also a growing technology based startup like Olwel, is an anonymous messaging platform that connects users with expert advice, available on the web, wap and android. User queries in Maya are routed to a vetted network of experts such as doctors, lawyers, therapists, etc. Strict anonymity of the information seeker has made Maya-apa one of a kind initiative. This platform is bridging a huge gap for access to healthcare in order to realize universal healthcare. Olwel consider them as the right partner in their journey to disrupt the healthcare delivery system in the developing world.
This partnership will allow Maya users to receive consultation services from Olwel doctors and healthcare specialists, both online and in their homes through requesting doctor home visits. As part of this partnership, Olwel will also connect their users to Maya subject matter specialists for queries relevant to Maya services.
The MoU was signed by the COO of Mayalogy Ltd., Rezwan Ahmed Noor Shabbin and the CEO of Olwel (BD) Ltd. Dr. M M Aftab Hossain. Chief Consulting Director of Medical Services of Olwel, Dr. Salahuddin Feroz and Community Operations Manager of Maya, Rahnuma Binta Rafiq Sonom, were present in the occasion.
